About Us Soccer Books Limited began life in 1982 as Hobbypress Guides and The Soccer Bookshelf and is now the longest-established specialist seller of football books in the United Kingdom.
We supply books and DVDs to thousands of individual customers throughout the World by direct mail and, in addition, sell our own publications directly to trade outlets. If you have any questions or comments please email us via the link at the top of the page.
Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept payment by credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express cards, amongst others. Orders are processed in £ Sterling but overseas customers will be charged the correct equivalent in their currency by their credit card company. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or securely over the Internet.
We also accept payment through PayPal.
We accept payment at current exchange rates by £ Sterling (Cheques, Cash, Money Orders, Postal Orders, Giro Payments).
We also accept payment in certain Overseas banknotes from various countries – once again, please ask for details.
Orders over the value of £60.00 (before postage) receive a 10% discount.
Shipping UK Postage normally arrives 2-4 working days after despatch. Maximum Postage charge for an order in the United Kingdom is £8.00 (excluding Advance orders for books yet to be published).
Western Europe – Priority postage usually arrives within 3-10 working days of despatch. Economy postage arrives within 2-4 weeks of despatch.
Eastern Europe – Priority postage should arrive within 5-10 working days of despatch. Economy postage arrives within 3-4 weeks of despatch.
Rest of the World – Priority postage should arrive within 5-14 working days of despatch. Economy postage arrives within 3-12 weeks of despatch.
U.S.A. & Canada – Priority postage arrives within 5-14 working days of despatch. Economy postage arrives within 5-8 weeks of despatch.
Please note that the above delivery times are not guaranteed and there are often additional country-specific delays within the postal system.
Delivery Schedule We aim to despatch orders within 1-3 business days. Transit times vary depending upon your location and the type of despatch service you have selected. See Shipping for further details.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. Most back-ordered books are despatched within 7 working days. Should the back-ordered item be delayed for longer, we will endeavour to email you with the option to cancel your order or receive an alternative title.
Refunds and Cancellations Customers in the European Union will be required to pay VAT (Value Added Tax) and a customs clearance charge before receiving delivery of their order. Customers will be contacted either by their national delivery service or DPD (larger orders only) to arrange collection of the tax due. This is regardless of the fact that there is no VAT charged on books or magazines in the UK. The VAT should be charged at the correct rate in their country which is generally a reduced rate for books and magazines.
Credit Card Security Credit card payments are securely processed online using the Opayo payment service provider. For increased security, we do not receive card details for these transactions.

Privacy Policy Soccer Books Limited do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login)
d. Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases
e. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
Returns, Refund and Cancellation Policy We operate a returns policy for unwanted and faulty goods. Should you need to return any item to us for any reason please contact us first by telephone or e-mail.
Unwanted and unused goods may be returned in the original packaging if in perfect condition for resale within 30 days of receipt. We recommend obtaining proof of postage. A full refund minus the shipping costs will be made on receipt of the returned goods. Please note that you are responsible for shipping costs when returning unwanted goods.
If any of the goods received are faulty, we will either refund the cost amount in full or send you a replacement free of charge.
If you would like to exchange any items, please contact us and we will do our best to get your exchanged items to you. Please be aware that you are responsible for the cost of sending the unwanted item back to us and also the shipping costs for sending out the exchange item.
You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from the date you received your order. To cancel your order please contact us in writing within 7 days.
If you would like to amend your order and the order has not been dispatched, we will happily take payment for the extra items and send all items out together. If your order has already been dispatched, we cannot add any more items and you will be required to place an additional order.
If you return something because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will refund any charges incurred in returning the item to us. Please contact us before returning any item.
We process all refunds to the original card used when you placed your order. If your card has expired, we will send a cheque to cover any refund costs.
All refunds are actioned the same day we receive the goods back and it can then take up to 3 working days for the refund to show on your card.
